There’s late disaster in Serie A for Juventus as their own loanee Vasilije Adžić scores a stoppage time winner against them for Sassuolo.  But the good news for the Old Lady is that they’re joint favourites to win the Europa League this season, along with AC Milan who are still unbeaten under Ruben Amorim. Will it be an Italian side who lifts the trophy, or might we see Bournemouth, Sunderland or Crystal Palace upsetting the odds? Lamine Yamal keeps scoring for Barcelona, who’re averaging more than four goals a game at the top of La Liga: three points above Real Madrid who are back to winning ways under Jose Mourinho. Elsewhere in Germany, Freiburg are top of the Bundesliga, despite Bayern beating new boys Elversberg on Sunday. It’s a big win for Enzo Maresca and for Man City’s title credentials as they come away from Old Trafford with all three points.
