
Michaella McCollum Gets Emotional Discussing Her Peru Drug Mule Arrest
8 November 2019 - 19 minsMichaella McCollum came to notability as one of the two women caught trying to smuggle 11kg of cocaine out of Peru’s capital Lima in August 2013.
At the age of 20, McCollum served just over two years in Peru's 'Ancon 2' prison and was released in 2016.
The Co Tyrone woman has now written You’ll Never See Daylight Again, a memoir detailing her experience as a drug mule and the time she spent in the Peruvian jail.
McCollum joined Matt in studio to discuss the book and being one of the infamous 'Peru Two'.
