
Government Considering Plan For Extra Bank Holiday To Reward Frontline Staff Over Covid
24 September 2021 - 20 minsA bank holiday and a 30c increase in the minimum wage are being considered as part of Budget measures aimed at rewarding frontline workers.
This would mean that Ireland would have 10 annual bank holidays, while the minimum wage would rise to €10.50 an hour.
