Britain Will Not Seek An Extension To Brexit Transition Period
12 June 2020 - 8 minsBritain has confirmed it will not seek an extension to the Brexit transition period which expires at the end of this year.
The EU is said to have officially accepted this decision, with its chief Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier adding that talks would intensify in the coming weeks and months.
