Moygashel bonfire being treated as hate-motivated offense

10 July - 12 mins
Podcast Series The Hard Shoulder

You would have seen over the past few days that a bonfire erected in the village of Moygashel made headlines after an effigy on a mosque was placed on it. This follows previous bonfires in Moygashel including effigies of a boat full of refugees, and another with a picture of then-Taoiseach Leo Varadkar. The PSNI have arrested a man, and are treating the incident as a hate-motivated offense.

Joining Shane to discuss it further is Jamie Bryson, Editor of the Unionist Voice, who spoke at a rally in Moygashel.
