Stephen McCullagh Trial: Former partner of murder accused gives evidence in Belfast Crown Court
The trial of Stephen McCullagh for the murder of Natalie McNally is continuing at Belfast Crown Court. In court today, a former partner of the murder accused gave evidence. The woman alleged that McCullagh had ‘recorded’ counselling sessions after she had suffered a stillbirth. She also said she withdrew a 2019 police statement relating to an alleged assault by McCullagh. Natalie McNally was 15 weeks pregnant when she was killed at her home on December 18, 2022. Man linked to John George murder found shot dead in Alicante
A suspect in the murder of Belfast man John George has been shot dead in Alicante in Spain in what police believe was an assassination. Czech national Michael Maly led police to the remains of father of two John George in December 2024 after he’d gone missing during a drug fuelled holiday on the Costa Blanca. Maly was a suspect along with fellow Belfast man Johnny Smyth in the killing of George who was stabbed in the legs and then shot before his body was dumped under a lemon tree in a remote area outside the tourist hotspot.
