It's a brilliant weekend for Arsenal who beat Crystal Palace while rivals Man City and Liverpool both lose. For Arne Slot's Reds, it's a 4th league defeat in a row as they are beaten at Brentford. Chelsea suffer a shock loss at home to Sunderland while Bournemouth go 2nd in the table after another victory over Sean Dyche's Forest. Real’s narrow 1-0 win at Getafe sets us up beautifully for Sunday afternoon’s Clásico… It was goals galore in Ligue 1 as Marseille put six past Le Havre, while PSG and Strasbourg played out a 3-3 thriller on Friday night. So how will Luis Enrique’s side fare away at a resurgent Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday night?  We’re running out of superlatives - and records for Harry Kane to break - after his latest goal in Bayern’s dominant 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund. Jimbo opens the Totally Almanac in 2006 and is joined by Duncan Alexander, Benji Lanyado and special guest Alan Curbishley to discuss an unforgettable West Ham season. It was the tale of two Alan's and two Argentinians with Alan Pardew sacked, Alan Curbishley brought in and Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano pitching up in East London to almost everyone's surprise. A baptism of fire for the new Icelandic owners as the club eventually pulled off the great escape on the final day by completing a double against the champions Man Utd.  Curbishley tells Jimbo about the pivotal moment he sat down with Tevez and his interpretor to inspire his season saving goals. It didn't end there though with Sheffield United taking them to court over the Tevez and Mascherano deal and Curbishley leaving, never to manage again.
