An Old TV Set Caused A Village Broadband Outage For 18 Months
25 September 2020 - 20 minsAn old TV set was found to be responsible for 18 months of daily broadband outages in a Welsh village.
The residents of Aberhosan mysteriously lost their broadband every morning at 7am.
When engineers investigated, they discovered that electrical interference from one householder's second-hand TV was to blame.
The unnamed resident, who was said to be "mortified", agreed not to use the TV again.
