The former boss of Anglo Irish Bank, Sean Fitzpatrick, has died.
The controversial figure was best known for heading up the bank, which collapsed in the economic crash, costing taxpayers billions.
Emmet Oliver is a teaching fellow at Trinity College Business School and lecturer in Business at the Quinn School of Business UCD, as well as a former business editor who covered the financial crisis at the time.
