
Another Dublin Zoo elephant gets deadly virus
10 July 2024 - 7 minsNews came today of a third elephant at Dublin Zoo testing positive for a deadly virus that has killed two young members of the small herd.
Zinda, who was seven years old, died from the disease at Dublin Zoo yesterday, while Avani died from the same disease last Monday, the 1st July. Their mother, Asha, now has the virus.
