Mother and Baby Homes Commission recordings
The Mother and Baby Commission has come under fire after it emerged audio recordings of testimony from almost 550 survivors had been deleted. Then last night the government said that, actually, the files can be recovered. But the opposition says there are still serious questions about all of this. The commission is due to be wound up at the end of the week, but there was a motion in the Dáil today to try to get that extended.
