Will the cut in hospitality vat be passed onto customers?
1 July - 15 minsAs of today, the Hospitality VAT cut is in place, reducing the rate from 13.5%, down to 9%, for the sector. Over a 12-month period, this will cost the taxpayer close to two thirds of a billion euro.
