PAC queries RTÉ’s use of taxpayer money

The Public accounts committee is also querying the use of taxpayer's money by RTÉ to send 41 staff and contractors to Czechia for the World Cup play-off semi-final.
Claire Byrne also addressed her own inclusion in the wider payments controversy, speaking with Alan Kelly, Labour TD and chair of the media committee and Seamus McGrath, Fianna Fail TD and member of the public accounts committee as scrutiny grows around presenter pay and disclosure procedures at the broadcaster.
