Fergus aspired to be the first person with a spinal chord injury to walk coast to coast across the US, from New York to Los Angeles. The 'Fergus Walks' campaign aims to raise €1 million for Spinal Injuries Ireland. Claire spoke to Fergus as he is about to set off.
