The Department of Health are planning to consult the EU before making any decisions on banning sunbeds.
The World Health Organisation has said sunbeds are carcinogenic to humans and can cause melanomas and other cancers.
The proposal for a ban has been controversial with lobbying groups.
Claire was joined by Consultant Dermatologist at the Institute of Dermatologists Professor Caitriona Ryan, Director of the Sunbed Council of Ireland Emma Rodahan and Gary Lipman, Chair of the Sunbed Association.
