A call for more acceptance and compassion towards Tourette’s Syndrome

24 February - 11 mins
Podcast Series The Claire Byrne Show

Tourette’s Campaigner John Davidson has said he is “deeply mortified” over his racial slur at the BAFTAs over the weekend. Host of the Awards, Alan Cumming, asked people for their understanding on the night.

To discuss the widespread reaction to this, Claire was joined by International Make Up Artist from Laois, and star of Netflix’s Glow up, James Mac Inerney who lives with Tourette’s Syndrome, and Laura Wilson, of Tourette’s Support Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland, who is a parent of a child with Tourette’s.
