29 June - 7 minsPaid leave will be offered to women who miscarry before 23 weeks of pregnancy, and women who have an abortion before 12 weeks, and after 12 weeks in expectational circumstances, under a new plan being considered by the Government.

Concerns about upholding language laws and planning
Worries are being raised about the protection of the Irish Language laws within the Gaeltacht region in Kerry. Numbers show that there have been no investigations of breaches to Irish Language law’s requirements by Kerry County councils since it was passed 12 years ago.
