Last Friday, the Central Bank of Ireland officially unveiled a new €2 commemorative coin celebrating U2 and marking 50 years since the band was formed. This will soon be followed by a coin commemorating the late author Maeve Binchy as part of the Central Bank's commemorative coins programme.
