With the many risks that smartphones pose to children, more and more parents are giving their kids ‘child-safe’ smartwatches. The smartwatches allow parents to stay in contact with their child while also delaying access to social media until a more appropriate age. Are smartwatches a viable alternative to smartphones? Is it necessary to always be in contact with your child?
