Just days after Christmas, 27-year-old Offaly camogie player Aisling Brennan collapsed suddenly while at a friend’s house. With no warning signs and at the peak of her fitness, she had suffered a cardiac arrest. CPR from those around her and a defibrillator shock within minutes saved her life before she was airlifted to hospital and placed in an induced coma.
Now back training and urging others to learn CPR, Aisling joins Seán to discuss.
