
First gold medal win for rower Tiarnán O'Donnell
22 June - 5 minsParis Paralympian Tiarnan O'Donnell is still on a high after winning a gold medal for Ireland in the World Rowing Cup last weekend.
He took the win in the PR2 Men's Single Scull final at Varese in Italy.
The athlete only transferred his talents to rowing recently, after previously captaining Ireland's wheelchair basketball team.
He caught up with Valerie on iScore, to chat about his road to Paris and his plans for LA 2028.
