A body has been found following a fire at the same Co Offaly home where a four year old boy Tadhg Farrell and his great-aunt Mary Holt died in an arson attack in December 2025. Gardaí have so far said the body of an adult man has been discovered and locals are looking for a relative of the family who had been living rough at the house and using candles as there was no electricity working. Stephen McCullagh has been found guilty of murdering Lurgan woman Natalie McNally.  The jury unanimously convicted 36-year-old McCullagh, of Woodland Gardens in Lisburn, of killing the 32-year-old mother to be in December 2022.   The four-week trial heard how McCullagh murdered Ms McNally after setting up a “false alibi” that he was livestreaming a video gaming session on YouTube.  McCullagh has been given a life-sentence.    Our sister podcast the Bel Tel are covering the case. A woman left in a critical condition after being assaulted in Co Tipperary has been named locally as Scarlett Faulkner - a mother of one in her 20s. Shocking video footage of the aftermath of the attack was shared on social media as cars drove by and witnessed her lying on a roadside in broad daylight.
