The government has announced level three restrictions for Dublin for the next three weeks, having accepted NPHET's recommendation.
People will be told to stay within the county, except for essential purposes such as work or education, and extra measures will also be introduced including the banning of indoor dining.
Daniel McConnell, political editor of the Irish Examiner, and Dr Anthony Staines, professor of health systems at Dublin City University, joined us to discuss the restrictions in detail.
