Donald Trump Says Climate Change Science Is Wrong

15 September 2020 - 11 mins
Podcast Series The Last Word with Matt Cooper

The US states of California, Oregon and Washington are continuing to battle wildfires, which have claimed at least 36 lives so far.

In a meeting with officials in California yesterday, President Donald Trump questioned the science of climate change, saying: "I don't think science knows, actually. It'll start getting cooler. You just watch."

He also told reporters that he believed the fires were the result of bad forest management rather than climate change.

Cal Thomas and Marion McKeone joined us for our weekly US slot to talk about this and more.
