It reminded me of one of my favourite episodes of The Big Interview, the podcast that I produced for eight years - and so, just for you, here it is.
Almost a decade ago now, I went to Manchester to chat with him and, as you’ll hear, the very first thing he wanted to talk about was ‘his’ club. Even then, when his wages were being paid by United, that meant Real Zaragoza.
