'I Got Sick In The Phoenix Park For 45 Minutes': How Drinking Clay Didn't Work Out For Bernard O'Shea

2 November 2020 - 11 mins
Podcast Series Dave Moore

Drinking clay, weighted vests, bleeding nipples and going to mass, these are the things that marked the 40th year of Bernard O'Shea's life.

The comedian has fully committed to being in the 'Manopause', and he's taking us along for the ride in his new book of the same name.

Speaking to Dermot and Dave, Bernard revealed the impact that wearing a weighted vest, drinking a gallon of water and yes, the clay had on his body. Let's just say the Phoenix Park will never look the same to him again.

Bernard also revealed how working with our own Dermot Whelan has helped him to understand the world of meditation, even if it took a few afternoon naps to get there.
