Dublin firefighter Terence Crosbie could face being locked up in a Boston Prison until next October when a second trial could get underway.

The father of two has insisted he is innocent of the rape charges that have been levelled against him and that he has done nothing wrong.

His trial ended when a jury could not agree and a mistrial was declared

A woman who had consensual sex with his room mate and fellow firefighter Liam O’Brien has alleged that she woke up to Crosbie raping her.

However a court has heard his DNA was not found in testing on her body.
