EP 21: Galia Arad - From Ireland To Indiana And The Healing Power Of Music
15 October - 43 minsDara’s back with another edition of The Greenlight Podcast, and this week he’s joined by singer-songwriter Galia Arad — all the way from “over the pond”, but firmly part of the Irish music fabric after more than a decade here.
They chat about how a temporary trip turned into 13 years in Ireland, the New York years, the surreal chain of events that led to xcrossing paths with Shane MacGowan and, ultimately, touring as a support act with Jools Holland.
Plus: signing with Rhubarb Records, gig nerves, and Galia’s work in Oberstown using music and podcasting to create a safe space for young people.
Galia's latest single 'That Was That' is out now!
Thanks to Galia for coming in and be sure to...
