An American con artist made famous by the hit podcast Queen of the Con is facing extradition to Northern Ireland after a fraud victim turned the tables on the woman who tricked him out of tens of thousands of dollars.

Marianne Smyth was arrested in Maine in February on foot of four counts of fraud and four of theft in Northern Ireland more than 15 years ago where she pretended to be a mortgage broker but robbed money instead.

She was outed by Hollywood producer Jonathan Walton who created the podcast after she befriended him and tricked him out of more than $90,000.

Nicola speaks to Jonathan about her extradition and his journey to justice.
