The Pat Kenny Show
One hundred years on from the reported Halloween death of Harry Houdini, the mystery still fascinates. The famous movie version shows him dying on stage, but that’s not what happened at all.
Pat is joined by John Conway, magic historian, former Magic Circle archivist and PhD researcher at the University of Aberdeen, to separate myth from fact: Houdini’s real name and disputed birthplace, the magician he borrowed his stage name from, and the truth about his death.
