Make-A-Wish® Ireland, the children’s charity, are running its annual fundraising initiative, Wish Week, to raise awareness and crucial funds to fulfil the heartfelt wishes of children across Ireland battling life-threatening illnesses.
According to new research, it is estimated that every week 13 children in Ireland are diagnosed with a critical illness that makes them eligible for a wish.
This means 652 children who are newly diagnosed with a critical illness each year.
