 An Irish GP who was charged with sex offences in the UK was allowed continue to work with patients in Dublin as long as he had a chaperone. Dr Muhammad Iqbal from Co Meath was jailed for 18 months earlier this month for sexually assaulting two female patients in England. A National Museum worker accused of storing a semtex bomb that was later intercepted while being transported near the border has been granted bail. Simon O’Donovan took the explosive device from his workplace at Collins Barracks museum in Dublin and handed it over to a woman, law student Isobella Perrie Sullivan who was stopped with it in her car in Co. Monaghan later that day, it is alleged. Both have now being granted bail by the High Court despite objections of Gardai.
