Despite early tragedy and straitened circumstances, the Collins family enjoy a loving and stable childhood in the townland of Fotish, near Crossmolina. They may have little in the way of material wealth, but the six children are doted on by their parents, and two aunts, Bridie and Ann.  More than 20 gardaí are now working on an investigation into the death of a man in his mid-thirties who became unresponsive after being restrained on the ground for a number of minutes on Henry Street in Dublin City Center last week. Disturbing video footage has emerged of the incident and it shows alleged shoplifter Yves Sakila becoming unresponsive as he's restrained on the ground on Friday evening.
