Daniel Kinahan was charged before the Special Criminal Court with directing a criminal organisation after his dramatic extradition from Dubai this weekend. The MV Matthew container ship which was seized when it was nabbed in Irish territorial waters with 2.2 tonnes of cocaine on board has finally been offloaded after costing the taxpayer and incredible €19m for repairs, storage, and crew costs.
