The Riotstarter - Bill "Goldie" Goldthorpe - Part 1
3 November - 1 hour 53 mins explicitThis week, we talk about a gritty hockey player, who was a feared enforcer, and the inspiration for a character in the movie "Slapshot". He was arrested more than a dozen times, before he was even an adult. He fought everyone possible. Other players, teammates, refs, cops, random people at bars, it didn't matter. mThis all caused him to be both hated, and beloved by hockey fans. His career doesn't suffer for the on ice fighting, but the rest of the fighting starts to hurt his cause!!
Be an enforcer, even when you're a small child, throw a ref down to the ice, if you don't like his call, and start a riot, causing the need for police to escort the team out of the town with Bill "Goldie"...
