Melbourne In Lockdown Again As The City Battles Second Wave
4 August 2020 - 7 minsMelbourne is back in lockdown as the city battles a second wave of coronavirus cases.
Victoria is Australia's worst-hit state, recording more than 12,000 of almost 19,000 total cases across the country.
As well as this, 147 of Australia's 232 COVID-19 fatalities have occurred in Victoria.
A State of Disaster has been declared, with authorities confirming that hundreds of people confirmed to have the virus were caught flouting stay-at-home orders.
