Dublin School Sends Letter Banning Students Having Phones

A Dublin school has sent parents a letter banning phones

This morning on Dublin Talks we heard about a letter sent to parents from a Dublin school.

The primary school has told parents that phones are not allowed and will be confiscated if found.

Some listeners believe there should be no need for a child to have a phone in school. However, some parents want their kids to have them so they can check in throughout the day.

Another opinion was that the school should not be telling parents what to do.

Irish Man In Australia Says He'll Happily Take COVID Vaccine To Fly Home

Would you take the COVID-19 vaccine if it allowed you to travel? The boss of Australian airline Qantas has said they will require passengers to have had the COVID-19 vaccine before travelling with them. This morning on Dublin Talks we asked, do you think this is fair? Would you be more comfortable flying again if you knew everyone had to be vaccinated? Opinions were divided on this one. Many feel it's a safe way to get travelling back. However, some believe it should be each persons own choice.
